The piece
A shoreline held in resin and gold, made to live on one wall and one wall only.
I poured The Gilt Shore as a quiet coastline, working it layer over layer, then drew a seam of real gold through it like the line where water meets sand. The surface shifts as you move past it, catching daylight and holding a soft glow under a lamp in the evening. I made it to anchor a calm wall, somewhere you pass often and want to slow down.

How each piece is made
Every piece is poured by hand in my London studio, one layer at a time.
I trained in architecture and interior design before I came to resin, and that is still how I work, thinking in light, depth and proportion. Each piece is built up in layers over several days, so the colour has real depth rather than sitting flat on the surface.
Resin holds light in a way a print never can. As you move past a piece it shifts and catches the room, and the gold I draw through it lifts the whole surface. Because every pour moves differently, no two are ever the same, which is why each one is the only one of its kind.

Is this really the only one?
Yes. Every piece I make is one of a kind, poured by hand and never repeated. Once this one sells it is gone for good, so what you see here is exactly what you receive, the only one of its kind.
Will it last?
It will. I build each piece in layers of high quality epoxy resin and seal it, so the surface keeps its gloss and the colour holds. Kept out of long direct sunlight and wiped now and then, it will look as it does today for many years.
How do I care for it?
Very little is needed. Wipe it gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth when it needs it, and keep harsh chemicals and perfumes away from the surface. Hung out of constant direct sun, it holds its depth and shine.
When will it arrive?
This piece is ready now and leaves my London studio within 1-3 days. UK delivery then takes around two to three days and UK shipping is free. International orders are welcome, with shipping calculated at checkout.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. It comes with flush fixings already attached, so it hangs straight from the box, and it is packed by hand in layers of protection so it travels safely to you.
