Good to know
Questions, answered
A few of the things people ask me most, about commissioning a piece, the artwork itself, shipping, care, and learning resin. If your question is not here, I would love to hear it.

Commissioning a piece
How do I start a commission?
Fill in the short brief on my Custom Art page with your idea, size, timeline and budget. It comes straight to me, and I reply within two business days with any questions and a personal quote. There is no obligation until you are happy with the quote.
How much does a commission cost?
Every commission is priced individually, because size, materials and detail vary so much. Most begin in the low hundreds and rise from there. Once I understand your vision I give you a firm, no obligation quote, so you always know the figure before anything begins.
How long does a commission take?
Once we have agreed the design, most pieces take around two to three weeks to make, cure and finish properly. Larger or more intricate work takes longer. I confirm a realistic timeline with you before I start, and keep you updated as your piece progresses.
The artwork
Are your pieces really handmade by you?
Yes. Every piece is made by my own hand in my London studio. Nothing is printed, mass produced, outsourced or generated by AI. When you buy from me you are buying an original made by the person who designed it, which is the whole point of the work.
Is each piece genuinely one of a kind?
Yes. Resin moves and settles differently every time, so no two pieces are ever identical, and I never reproduce an original. Each wall art piece is made once, sold once and held at a stock of one, so the piece you receive is truly the only one.
Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
Very close, yes. I photograph each piece in natural light so what you see is honest. Because resin is a living medium, tiny variations in flow and shimmer are part of every handmade piece, and part of why an original feels alive rather than printed.
Shipping and delivery
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
UK shipping is free on every order. I ship worldwide, with international cost calculated at checkout by destination. Any import duties or taxes outside the UK are set by your own country and paid on arrival, as these are beyond my control.
How are pieces packaged for delivery?
With great care. Resin is durable, but original art deserves protection, so each piece is wrapped and cushioned in protective packaging suited to its size. Larger wall art is boxed and reinforced so it reaches you exactly as it left the studio.
When will my order be dispatched?
Ready to ship pieces are packed and sent within a few business days of your order. Commissions are dispatched once complete, on the timeline we agree at the start. I always send confirmation when your piece is on its way to you.
Returns and care
What is your returns policy?
Because each piece is one of a kind or made to order, I am not able to accept returns for a change of mind. If anything arrives damaged or not as described, contact me within 48 hours with photos and I will put it right. Your satisfaction matters to me.
How do I care for my resin piece?
Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can affect any resin over time, and away from heat sources. To clean, wipe gently with a soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth, with no harsh chemicals or abrasives. Treated kindly, your piece will stay vivid for years.
Will the resin yellow or fade over time?
I use quality materials chosen for clarity and longevity, and finish each piece to protect it. As with all resin art, prolonged harsh sunlight is the main thing to avoid. Displayed sensibly, indoors and out of constant direct sun, your piece is made to keep its depth and colour.
Learning resin
Do you teach resin art?
Yes. I offer one to one coaching over Zoom, tailored to what you want to learn, alongside an online Ocean Coaster Course, and a written workbook is on the way. My background is in architecture and interior design, which shapes how I teach composition and colour.
Who is the coaching for?
Complete beginners and improving makers both. In a one to one session we work on exactly what you need, whether that is your very first pour or refining a technique that keeps tripping you up. You bring the questions, and I shape the hour entirely around them.
Can I learn your signature techniques?
Some, yes. My one to one sessions and forthcoming workbook teach real, repeatable methods you can genuinely use. A few of my signature techniques stay in the studio, but there is a great deal I love to share, and teaching is one of my favourite parts of this work.
