LIVE WORKSHOP – COSMIC EYE
Without a doubt, the most frequently asked question in my DMs, comments under my photos, and emails are “When is the next workshop?”. Well, let’s talk about it!
WHERE ARE THE WORKSHOPS?
I’ve done a couple Live Workshops now, and I still remember how nervous I was on the very first one where I partnered with East London University! Well, I was nervous for the beginning, but quickly became comfortable and was in my teaching element!
The feedback I’ve received from each new workshop has been incredible. I cannot begin to try and explain the feeling I get when I receive photo messages in my DMs of the BEAUTIFUL resin geode coasters, from following my workshops. That alone is one of the best perks of what I do!
So why haven’t I done more workshops? Well to be open and transparent with you (as always!), I just haven’t had the time. As of writing this blog, my WEDDING is in 2 WEEKS!!! Not only is my wedding only 2 weeks away, but we still have a few things to plan last minute lol!
On top of Wedding plans, I’m also currently in and out of the hospital for appointments, and I’m planning on having surgery pretty much straight away the wedding. There are a few other things here and there, but trust me when I say my calendar is COMPLETELY BOOKED UP!
THE COSMIC EYE
I’ve done my Clear Quartz Geode Coaster Workshop 3 times now, to just under 300 people by the way! I love this design, and I will be doing this workshop again, but I wanted my next workshop to be something different.
When deciding on which design to go with, I had a few things to keep in mind. I wanted the design to be complete different to the Clear Quartz. I also wanted the technique used to be slightly more challenging. My Cosmic Eye collection ticked those boxes.
THE SECRETS
But then I started to think… Do I really want to give away these secrets? Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love teaching you all the tips and tricks I’ve figured out; but this piece is from a collection where I’m STILL making and selling to people all over the world.
On top of that, the Cosmic Eye collection holds a special place in my heart. I experimented and figured out this technique quite a long time ago; and to this day I’ve still not seen anywhere or anyone figure out the technique successfully.
If you attend this Workshop; you will be one of the very few artists that will be able to make designs this unique!
Another reason why I love this design is that each side of the coaster has a completely different unique design, which gives you and your potential customers to freedom to use whichever side matches their current mood/personality! Keeping up with the 1 coaster = 2 design train ;)
THE REQUIRED SKILL LEVEL
I briefly mentioned that I wanted a design that is slightly more challenging than the Clear Quartz workshop. I would classify this workshop as the bridge between beginner and intermediate. It would be ideal if you had some experience with resin before joining this workshop.
By all means, you do not need to be an expert in resin to join the workshop; but I think it would be best if it wasn’t your first ever time pouring before joining lol!
So yeah, there was a lot to consider when putting together this workshop. Giving away a design secret that still gets me sales, that no one has figured out how to make, and you could use these learned techniques to come up with your own variations (which I’m super excited to see from you!!).
THE DETAILS
The Live Workshop will take place on Friday 2nd July 2021 at 3pm GMT.
Cost of entry will be £39.95.
Tickets will become available on my website this week Thursday 24th June 2021 at 7pm GMT. If you are signed up to my email newsletter, you will gain access to purchase a ticket 2 hours earlier
As mentioned above, we capped the last workshop at a maximum of 50 attendees, which ended up getting completely booked up in a couple hours. This Live Workshop will again be capped with a maximum of 50 ATTENDEES
The Live Workshop will last around 1.5 - 2 hours and just some of the topics discussed and taught will be:
- Health & Safety when working with epoxy resin
- How to prep your desk set up for an efficient pour session
- What tools/equipment I use & my recommendations for Beginners and more advanced users
- Different factors to manipulate epoxy resin to achieve desired results
- Mixing resin, mixing colours & easy tips to get rid of bubbles
- How to stand out from resin artists so increase your sales
- Q&A from you, about anything (Resin related questions, how to grow on Social Media or anything else you are curious about)
There is a lot of valuable information that will be shared in this workshop that you will not want to miss!
