LIVE Workshop - 2 Coasters, 4 Designs!

A few weeks ago, I took a HUGE leap and partnered with East London University and put together a Live Workshop – For Beginners, which was a MASSIVE SUCCESS! 

THE FIRST WORKSHOP

I cannot begin to explain how nervous I was organising something like this. I was going through mental gymnastics in my head thinking “What if no one turns up?” and “What if they don’t like the workshop?”.

We decided we will CAP the capacity at 100 attendees, thinking hopefully half of the tickets get taken. Then I was told by the University that 100 people have already reserved their spot in such a short amount of time, so we increased the capacity to 200; and again, all the spots were taken!! Believe me when I say I was feeling incredible that so many people trusted me with their time to show them how to get into the wonderful world of resin!

THE FEEDBACK

I won’t lie; I was nervous. Well, at least for the first few minutes. I quickly found my groove, and after seeing everyone’s faces with their whole desk set up ready to make beautiful resin coasters; we were in the zone!

Not everyone had their cam on, which was totally fine; but I made sure anyone who was creatine art with me, no one was left behind. We took our time, we went over all the details from A-Z, we went over everyone’s Q&A’s and in the end, we made incredible art together. It truly was an experience I will never forget.

Once the workshop was over, everyone started sending me photos of the coaster they just made. I could not have been prouder of the results. I have just put together a Highlight Story on my Instagram called “Courses” so you can see for yourself!

THE DEMAND

Before, during and after this workshop I received an insane number of messages asking if there will be another course as they could not attend for various of reasons. I knew I had to do another, this time even better than the last.

If you have followed me for a while, you will know I am currently going through health issues, as well as maintaining my business and keeping up with orders – It was a real struggle to find the time to plan and organize a workshop that could somehow be better than the last. Well, once I have a goal in mind; I will make sure I get there…

THE NEXT WORKSHOP

In the last workshop I taught the group how to make a beautiful coaster, similar style to my Quartz Collection, which has an incredible design on BOTH sides of the coaster! I love these coasters the most as they give you/loved ones/customers the choice to use the side of the coaster they prefer best!

In this workshop I will be going over the same design for those that missed out on the first workshop.

BUT IT DOESN’T END THERE! On top of the above lush design, I will be revealing the techniques used to manipulate resin to create a stunning Flowery Rose & Quartz Hybrid (Wow what a description haha).

This means you will learn how to make 2 brand new coasters to your collection, with each coaster having incredible designs on both sides! 2 coasters = 4 different designs!

Whether you create resin art as a hobby, thinking about starting a business, or want to get out of a creative slump in your current resin business; you will gain a MASSIVE edge over resin artists once you add these coaster designs to your collection!

THE DETAILS

The Live Workshop will take place on Tuesday 18^th May 2021 at 3pm GMT.

Tickets will become available on my website this week Thursday 13^th May 2021 at 7pm GMT.

As mentioned above, we capped the last workshop at a maximum of 200 attendees, which ended up getting completely booked up. This Live Workshop will be capped with a maximum of 50 ATTENDEES.

The Live Workshop will last around 1.5 hours and just some of the topics discussed and taught will be:

• Health & Safety when working with epoxy resin
• How to prep your desk set up for an efficient pour session
• What tools/equipment I use & my recommendations for Beginners and more advanced users
• Different factors to manipulate epoxy resin to achieve desired results
• Mixing resin, mixing colours & easy tips to get rid of bubbles
• How to stand out from resin artists so increase your sales
• Q&A from you, about anything (Resin related questions, how to grow on Social Media or anything else you are curious about)

There is a lot of valuable information that will be shared in this workshop that you will not want to miss!
